Woodcroft is a metropolitan suburb in the southern part of Adelaide. The suburb was named after the Woodcroft Farm homestead, built in 1897 by Richard Owen, who also built the Mount Hurtle Winery in the suburb. Both properties still remain with Mount Hurtle still operating as a boutique winery, just off Pimpala Road.

The suburb is popular with young families with 60% of the population under the age of 40. There is a state run primary school and Catholic primary school within the suburb . Woodcroft College is an Anglican combined primary and secondary school though it is technically located in neighbouring suburb, Morphett Vale.
